First impressions
The Pillow Pet stuffed animal arrived beautifully packaged, it was such a treat to open and I felt as if I had received a gift.
It had a cardboard ‘jacket’ on with adorable illustrations of a strawberry milkshake with a strawberry pattern surrounding it, it had the title of the pet (Sweet Scented Pet) written as the main feature, complete with the Pillow Pets logo and their classic slogan: ‘It’s a pillow! It’s a pet! It’s a pillow pet!’ framing the piece at the top and bottom.
This packaging was too cute to take off and throw away- so I cut out my favorite parts to use in scrapbooking!
Well, this cow definitely lives up to the expectations! It is so squishy and ready to be hugged, its fur is soft, the strawberry pattern on its belly is simply adorable, and the smell is delicious.
This Strawberry Milkshake Pillow Pet has a soft look and feel, making it an impressive addition to any bedroom or living room. It is not too big, so it does not overpower the rest of the room’s decor, but it is the perfect size for cuddles or to be used as a pillow.
The top of the cow has soft pink and white fur that honestly feels like a cloud to the touch. The underside of the cow is just lovely. The colors are vibrant, the pattern is fitting and not too busy, and the pillow pets logo is sweetly stitched onto one foot. The bright red and pink is a perfect contrast to the soft pastel top of the cow.
The material of both the top fur and the underside is extremely soft and perfect to put your head on if you open it to use as a pillow but also great to cuddle as a plush animal during a movie or while you sleep.
What really makes this plush toy special and stand out from its competitors, though, is all the little details that are added all over. The little scented strawberry on the cow’s side is really sweet and squishy, adding that little pop of color needed.
The cow’s face is simply adorable – it has big, round brown eyes and a light pink embroidered nose and smile that give it a gentle look that people of all ages will gravitate to and love. Pillow Pets have had the foresight to add a small square of fabric to the strap that ties the toy to make it into a stuffed animal and unties it to make it into a pillow to protect the user’s face from being scratched by the velcro strip, which is surprisingly useful.
Lastly, the cow even has a little white tail with a pink tip, which completes the toy’s look beautifully. The attention to detail from Pillow Pets on this sweet-scented cow is just amazing.
All in all, this Pillow Pet has been a great purchase that I have enjoyed every day since it arrived. It has been a pleasure right from the packaging to the small details that go unnoticed at first glance.
