What attracts most people to these earbuds is the price. Available from $8 to $16 (depending on color and promotions), the cost is virtually unbeatable. These earbuds are built after the revolutionary AirPods, costing around $160.
But, AirPods were originally introduced in 2016. And similar models have been popping up ever since, usually at half the cost or less.
Additionally, when purchased at Walmart, you can add a 2 or 3-year protection plan for just $1/year. That means you could swoop one of these up with a 3-year protection plan for under $20!
If they fail in those 3 years, well, get your money back or replace them. No need to ship back the product and wait for weeks either.
When you pop in these earbuds, you’ll be able to enjoy 4 hours of playtime. People confirm the playtime, and some report an even longer-lasting battery after a few charging cycles.
Once the earbuds run out of juice, you can place them in the case. The case itself can completely charge the earbuds twice, for a total playtime of 12 hours – or longer. The case itself is chargeable too, with a micro-USB cable. The status indicator will let you know when the case (and buds inside) are completely charged.
Now, chances are likely you won’t continuously use these earbuds for 4 hours, only to completely charge them, and repeat. The good news is that every time you place these earbuds back in their case, they will charge right up. So for occasional users, you could go days or even weeks without having to worry about charging the case.
The less tech-savvy will be happy to know that these earbuds are a breeze to use. You connect them to your phone, tablet, or any other device with BlueTooth. Then, any sound from your synced device will pass to the earbuds, as long as you are within range (roughly 30 feet).
The earbuds have buttons on the side, that allow you to turn the volume up and down. You can also pause the music you’re playing, although that can differ based on the device you’re syncing from. Most people with Android phones have no issues at all.
While a lot of people think they fit wonderfully, others hate the fit. Whether it’s too small, too big, or they just fall out. Reviews are mixed, and it seems to be a love it or hate it thing.
Again, this appears to be a user-to-user thing. Some people absolutely love everything about these earbuds, including the sound, which is why it has hundreds of positive reviews, with an 87% recommendation rate from verified purchases.
For the price, I wouldn’t expect the exceptional sound quality that AirPods or Beats would offer. That’s just unrealistic.
For the price, you either get an amazing value, or you get a dud. A lot of people report that the earbuds only lasted a few days. Either they just quit working, or they fall apart. The good news is that if you buy them from Walmart, you can return them within 90 days. And for just a dollar a year, you can extend that warranty up to 3 years.
ONN earbuds are IPX5 Waterproof. That really means that they are water-resistant, not so much waterproof. In technical terms, IPX5 means the product can withstand “a low-pressure water stream from any angle”. So, shouldn’t have to worry about sweat or raindrops. Taking them swimming, on the other hand, that’s a whole different story. It’s likely they would only last a few minutes, if that, before they give out.
Yes, the right earbud has a microphone built-in and allows for hands-free calling. In other words, you can answer a synced device through the earbuds. You can speak without having to fetch your phone, and once done, you can hang up from the earbud controls.
Yes, there are three different size ear tips included. This offers a customizable fit for a variety of people, ranging from children to women and men.
I really like the “ buds” they work great at work. Wearing one at a time is my problem with the mic being on only one of the buds.
Hey Joseph. Glad you are happy with your purchase!
These are rlly amazing and like the HD audio that comes out once in a while
My daughter just bought me these on wireless earphones.. thinking she was doing good I actually bought the same ones a week earlier that’s why I asked her for the Skullcandy wireless .. the ear pieces are too big they won’t fit right but my daughter had an old pair of the Skullcandy one smallest and next to smallest fit on the onn perfectly. They work great , connectivity n all BUT when I went to charge it a second time my fan is plugged in the same outlet… My fan started losing power then pick back up which I didn’t notice before… The earbuds were magnetizing to the actual outlet, corner of my wall when I moved it and it literally gripped the cord… causing it to reach out literally to attach to it. My daddy was a a lineman..not telephone repair.. the man who left us to help others gets their lights on..in Katrina,Hugo,Andrew an and sandy
Everyone I knew while he was alive n after he recently passed said he was one of the last old school line men n one of the best they ever knew. So growing up were were warned about everything bad.. n that..is pretty dangerous…some isn’t made safe..I know it was those headphones. I tried old pair again… N I’ll be damned it it didn’t happen again!!💯 We learned a lot.. he was a hard man but he sure as heck didn’t want us electrocuted
**ONN* wireless earphones**
Unfortunatly something in these earbuds I’m HIGHLY allergic too. Wore them one time while mowing the lawn and had to endure 3 weeks of blisters, oozing, swelling, and itching. I thought it was only from the tips, so I changed them out with ones on a pair that I had no problems with. Had the same allergic reaction but less intensity. I’m guessing an allergy to silicon or latex or both???
